The Marketing Process: How we do it. (Back to Introduction)
Stage 3 - Site (Re-)Development Plan
Our research in stages 1 and 2 invariably identifies the need to develop your site in a specific way. Our recommendations typically include some or all of the following:
- Content development – Very few of our clients get away without having to do some work! We will invariably ask you to produce text articles on particular areas. Often this can be readily adapted from your existing literature but in other cases it will have to be drawn up from scratch. We will provide ideas for interesting articles that will attract and keep visitors. Where appropriate, we will also work with you to generate a site map that can be used as a plan to capture the required content.
- Adapting the existing technology of the site – Many sites are developed in such a way that search engines can not read them. Where this is the case, achieving listings becomes very difficult. We can usually offer work-arounds where redevelopment results in conflicts of interest. However the recommendations we make, usually result in improvements to the websites ability to convert customers, as well as attract search traffic.
- New product line suggestions – We frequently identify products or markets that are underdeveloped on the internet. If we believe that they are closely related to your business we will make suggestions.
